Just when you think there is no way possible for the much loved cast at The Royal Court Theatre, Liverpool to pull the rabbit out of the hat again …. they do!
Scouse Sleeping Beauty is all about preventing any dreading curse materializing, keeping the babe in arms safe and protected until her 18th birthday,
Not content with the surprise party planned, Sleeping Beauty the play flees the comfort and safety of the surrounings of home, and spreads her wings with Scouse, the handsome love interest (Michael Fletcher), to Primarni for some socks.
Yes … its been 18 long years, and Scouse Sleeping Beauty returns home with bags full of socks!
Actor, Andrew Schofield’s back must have been killing him at the end of this performance – however, his timing and delivery remains nothing short of perfection, not to mention playing that sax!
Power House Actress, Lindzi Germain goes by a number of names throughout the show courtesy of Crow, but the whole Royal Court Theatre Liverpool Acting Family are used to improvising as they go. Brilliant to watch!
Full of drama. Full of laughter. Highly recommended. Absolutely no sleeping whatsoever in this performance of Scouse Sleeping Beauty the Musical Comedy. Worth seeing twice!
A well deserved standing ovation from a very happy audience.
