Step into the opulent carriages of the Northern Belle and be transported to a bygone era of rail travel. Relax in your elegant surroundings and gaze out the picture window, watching the passing scenery unfold as we savour the gastronomic journey ahead.

Within minutes, one of our valued Stewards will pour you a sparkling Mimosa cocktail as you gaze at the celebrated Head Chief Matthew Green’s tantalizing menu.

Ahead lies a journey back to the Golden Days of rail travel, a time when nothing was too good for the pampered passengers.

The Head Chef and his team will be hard at work in the kitchen carriage to create

• a masterful three-course brunch
• five course dinner
• accompanied by a choice of wine
• hand crafted and innovative dishes with the finest of seasons ingredients

But that’s not all ladies, because The Northern Belle is enroute to Blenheim Palace.   

Thats right, Blenheim Palace has been described as Britain’s Greatest Palace with an opportunity to visit the stunning State Rooms, and secret corridors, and even a downstairs tour showing how servants and kitchen staff lived.    You can even visit the tiny room where Sir Winston Churchill was born.

On arrival, we will follow the platform guides as we have an optional visit to The Roman Baths, or upto five hours leisure to spend exploring this historic city.

After what promises to be an exceptional day, we will rejoin the Northern Belle Steam Train for a Champagne Reception, before tucking into a sumptuous five-course dinner during our leisurely journey home.
