Matthew Bourne.  Accomplished beyond words.  OBE,  British born, and a professional dancer himself of 14 years, Matthew turned to choreography, and producing.

Matthew incorporates his own modern twist in ballet and contemporary dance performances such as Edward Scissorhands, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and ofcourse Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake.

“The New Adventures of Swan Lake” from Matthew Bourne promises to be outstanding.

Celebrating it’s 30th Anniversary, this ground breaking reinvention of Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece took the world by storm almost three decades ago, and Swan Lake Ballet has since become the epitome of success in the realm of dance theatre productions.

Gold and Platinum Members are invited to join a pre-theatre wine and dine at the exclusive Pier 8 restaurant at The Lowry before taking our excellent centre stalls seats!

Please note that Pier 8 Restaurant Booking is a separate event, which will need to be paid in full at a later date to be confirmed.

The New Adventures of Swan Lake includes excellent centre stalls seats, and luxury return coach, accompanied by Culture Calendar Host throughout!

NOTE: Due to the volume of coach trips that Culture Calendar Host in the month of December, Swan Lake Ballet falls on a Friday Evening, and our first pick up will be at approximately 2:30pm, so that we take every opportunity to indulge ourselves at The Lowry before the main event.

Members will have the opportunity to take in the free Lowry Exhibition which is available on the upper flower of the Theatre (accessed via escalator).
