Dirty Dusting, Comedy Goldmine

This has to be one of the silliest, and funniest comedy plays Culture Calendar has ever been to see, and was voted for by you! But, Dirty Dusting was an absolute riot from start to finish. Something I would never personally have booked to see, and how wrong would it have been to miss this performance!

The laughter was both continuous and contagious our cheeks literally ached.

A pre-theatre dinner with friends added the perfect dimension to our evening, creating an atmosphere of anticipation and excitement. Sharing laughter, food, and drinks with great company was the best possible way to kick off a night of entertainment.

The play itself is a comedic masterpiece. Three ordinary women facing redundancy as they are approaching retirement, and decide to turn their lives upside down by setting up a telephone sex line.

The ensuing chaos was hilarious, heartwarming, and without doubt unforgettable. The cast’s impeccable timing and delivery had us rolling in the aisles. It’s no wonder this show has become so loved.

We’re already planning our next outing to see another performance. The experience was so uplifting and enjoyable that it’s become a benchmark for future theatre trips. If you’re looking for a night of pure, unadulterated fun, Dirty Dusting is an absolute must-see. Prepare to laugh until your sides ache and leave the theatre feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

We can’t recommend this show highly enough. It’s a fantastic example of how theatre can bring people together and create lasting memories, and as mentioned … as an avid theatre go-er, I would never have booked to see this myself!

So always consider others preferences, and go with the flow. It could turn out to be your best night yet!
